Deep undercover

I was once sent on a mission to find out about a strange place. I had to be totally immersed, deep undercover work. It was a risky mission, many had been sent and each time contact with them was lost. It was felt they were kept alive because sometimes there would be a signal but then nothing again. Over 6 billion had been sent, but only a very few had completed the mission which was to be a witness of what it is like to be human. I too forgot the mission, I had got so involved in being human and now I know that´s what happened to the others too. I´m doing what I can to remind the others of their missions.
